The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on that same vision - of a better world - one without blood cancers.

I joined LLS because I’m deeply passionate about supporting an impactful cause which deserves more attention. This opportunity allows me to make a real difference in the fight against blood cancers, while also contributing to the well-being of my community.  I first realized the power of making a difference when I attended "Light the Night" when I was only 8, and felt the power in numbers. My personal passion is the science behind these particular diseases; I am intrigued about looking to and expanding research to find a cure, and make life easier for the millions of childrens and adults in our community. I have delved with science and research in the past, and I hope to continue my passions through LLS. For me, it’s about more than just fundraising—it’s about taking action, raising awareness, and demonstrating that together we can create meaningful change. I believe in the power of research to save lives, and I’m committed to being part of the solution. 

This year, I’m proud to be a part of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, working to raise as much as possible for LLS’s mission.

As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:

• Funds cutting-edge research leading to breakthroughs in immunotherapy, genomics and personalized medicine that are improving and saving the lives of patients
• Provides free education and support for blood cancer patients and families, including personalized, one-on-one support, assistance with identifying and enrolling in clinical trials, and more.
• Mobilizes thousands of advocates to drive policy changes that accelerate the development of new cancer treatments and break down barriers to care.
